Islam4UK is a web-based organisation that positions itself as a platform for the banned Al-Muhajiroun group, founded by former lawyer Anjem Choudary, and firebrand preacher Omar Bakri Mohammed.

Al-Muhajiroun was banned by Tony Blair under the British Terrorism Act 2006 after the 7/7 bombings and Bakri – who called the bombers ‘the Fantastic Four’ - outlawed from the country.

He is now living in Lebanon, but Islam4UK gives him an efficient way of publicising his views in Britain.

It is thought that Islam4UK contains the same followers as Al-Muhajiroun, and their principal aim is to turn Britain into an Islamic state.

Choudary has said in the past that he offers ‘a pure Islamic state with Sharia law in Britain’.

He added: ‘Islam is undeniably the only real solution for Britain's problems.’

Britons, he has said, live ‘like animals in the jungle with their alcohol, gambling, prostitution and pornography’. Choudary would give 40 lashes in public to ‘anyone who becomes intoxicated by alcohol’.

Under Choudary’s strict Islamic code, we wouldn’t just have to behave very differently, but we’d look very different, too.

‘Every woman, whether Muslim or non-Muslim, would have to wear a traditional burkha and cover everything apart from her face and hands in public,’ he said.

He would even extend this law to the Queen. 'If the Queen decides to go outside she is to cover herself like every other woman,’ he added.

Choudary has stated that Buckingham Palace should be renamed Buckingham Masjid and that the Crown Jewels should be melted down into 'more appealing jewellery, free from idolatrous engravings or symbols such as crosses or human beings'.

Other views that the group hold include a loathing for Christmas traditions. Christmas itself is ‘evil’ and turkey dinners, crackers and Christmas trees are the ‘pathway to hellfire’.

Choudary has repeatedly branded British soldiers as ‘cowards’, accused them of murdering and raping innocent civilians and likened them to Nazi stormtroopers.

The Firebrand cleric has admitted that his followers were behind the insults thrown at British soldiers during a parade in Luton last year, for which several of them are standing trial for using threatening behavior.

The group’s planned march through Wootton Bassett has caused even more of a furore, but leader Choudary has defended it.

‘The procession is not about having a protest against the people of Wootton Bassett,’ he said. ‘The idea is to raise awareness of what is happening in Afghanistan.’

Nowadays, many propounders of Baatil (falsehood) are putting forth their corrupt theories for no reason other than to facilitate fulfilment of their base desires. By the Fadhl (grace) of Allah, this was long ago anticipated by the Ulama who worked to keep the Aqaaid of Deen pure and unadulaterated. This latest falsehood bein promulgated by the Hizb al-Tahreer is in fact nothing new or unecountered by the Ulama of Deen. Some of the Baatil being promulgated by them is, in fact the same as originated by the Mu'tazila 12 centuries ago and more recently by the Jamaat Islaami of Pakistan. The Ulama have successfully repelled both these and numerous other attempts to adulterate the pristine purity of Islam and will, Insha Allah, continue to do so.
